I have been a member of Peonies and Intellect since its founding and I am grateful to be a part of this organization. Peonies and Intellect has created a much needed space in Montego Bay for Professional women and entrepreneurs to educate, network and share. Our discussions cover a wide range of topics; from success in business to women’s health.
The organization’s leadership is structured and efficient. Each meeting’s topic and schedule are always planned and shared with members well in advance. The environment at meetings is one of enlightenment, support and comradery- where women are allowed to share their unique perspectives on challenges and successes, whether in privately owned businesses or thriving in corporate male dominated spaces.
Peonies and Intellect recognizes the need to give back to the community and provide support to future generations. Thus, we have donated to various schools and organizations and we have an active mentorship program. As the organization continues to grows, I am particularly motivated by the prospect of more of these community outreach initiatives.
